-Good morning … Friday is finally here.
-The sun is out, the sky is blue – it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day out there.
Currently we have 43 cool degrees under clear blue sunny skies. Today’s northland weather forecast is: Partly sunny. A slight chance of rain showers in the morning. Highs 65 to 70. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of showers 20 percent.
Just think … it’ll be almost as warm outside as it is on the inside of our house.
Color weather radar at this hour shows a small area of rain in north central Minnesota and another area across most of southern MInnesota – but for the rest of us…it’s looking good.
-Yesterday was day 1 of my Nutrisystem diet … and it went extremely well. I ate all day … well, that is the way it seems. Meals or snacks every three hours, and every two hours from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. I drank an eight ounce glass of water – so by days’ end I was full.
How did the Nutrisystem food taste? Actually, I think it tasted darn good.
Would I recommend this diet to any one else? I sure would … and in a few months, after I’ve lost my weight – I’ll give you an update.
-Steve worked a double shift yesterday working his primary job during the day and his secondary job in the evening – he did not get home unitl around 12:40 a.m. or so.
I was sound asleep … snoring my little head off – so I actually never even heard him come into the house. He was as quiet as a mouse.
My day yesterday was spent pretty much getting my meals together, reading the packets of information from Nutrisystem and then last evening I cut part of the lawn – the front yard at our home. The darned dandelions were popped up and needed badly to be cut – so that job is now out of the way. Steve will cut the back yard this morning after he wakes up.
Besides walking around and cutting the grass, I also managed to squeak in a 1.2 mile hike – not real far, but at least it gave me a chance to get some cardio exercise.
Steve has today and tomorrow off – and goes back to his secondary job on Sunday morning, where he will work until about 2:30 p.m.

-Our favorite Alaskan, Sarah Palin a.k.a Caribou Barbie, a.k.a. Caribou Killer, a.k.a. The Deer Slayer, is on the warpath over some jokes made on a recent episode of “Late Night with David Letterman”.
Sarah – get over it – you ditz bag – when you enter the public arena – you have to expect to get blasted from all sides.
-The guy in today’s photos is Juan Jose Brachos.
Juan … is a bald, hairy and good looking guy who recently represented Venezuela in the Mr Gay World contest.

-Well guys … that’s it for this Friday edition of our blog…We are celebrating 10 years of being together as of today – June 12, 2009. We hope each of you has a great day – get outside and enjoy the weather if it is nice where you live.
We’ll see you back here again tomorrow.
