Something to think about, the next time you visit those types of places what have “holes in the wall”!

Purpose In Life

-We finally had some rain last night … about 1.5 inches all total.

But that was yesterday, and this is today … a new day.

-Happy July 15, 2009!

Today is a very special holiday. It’s not just Saint Bonaventure Day, Ancient Rome Day and the birthday of General John J. Pershing … it’s much, much more than that.

You see, today is the most special day, ever!

Why?

Because today is right now ~ as your reading this blog and as I’m sitting here at 4:55 a.m. typing it!

And it’s all you and I, and everyone else in this great big world has got.

What is purpose?

Definition: Purpose is: an end to be attained.

You know the purpose in life is whatever you’re doing at the moment or right now. If you’re jogging outside today, then that that is purpose in life for that moment. If you’re watching television, then that is your purpose during that hour television show. If you’re fighting with a boy friend, then that is your purpose at that particular time.

But daily purpose isn’t everything in a guys life.

If I were base my whole purpose entirely on writing this daily blog, I’d be down in the dumps once I discovered that perhaps no one reads it. Daily purpose, I think comes and goes. I mean, you know things change from day to day and minute to minute. Life just goes around.

The purpose within us, is to become enlightened and knowledgeable.

So, today is an important holiday. It’s Wednesday, July 15, 2009. And that’s right now. Now is all you and I have got. Yesterday exists only as a memory and tomorrow hasn’t happened and isn’t even real to us as of yet.

Whatever you do with today, Wednesday July 15 – do it with purpose.

Make your day meaningful.
