Thanks For Remembering Me

-You could not have asked for a better day … the sun was shining, the sky was blue, the temperature was about 74 degrees – and it was my birthday.

I got a blue Apple iPod Nano from Steve, a Braun Series 3 wet/dry shaver from a relative, a Red Lobster gift card for $25.00 from another, and a spin brush pro clean toothbrush from yet another, and “Happy Birthday” wishes from my friends on Facebook, and words of congratulations from some of the readers of our blog!

Thanks everyone and thanks for sharing your lives with me on yesterday. I will cherish this day forever.

Special thanks to my partner for setting everything up, the balloons, us being able to go out for a birthday dinner at Outback Steak House, and most of all for your love and faithfulness to me yesterday and every single day … I love you pal.

It was just a fun day for sure.

-Yesterday was the 63rd anniversary of my body and being here on earth! At some time during the day, way back in 1946, little me entered this great big world … in physical form.

Yesterday, in a special way, I’ll celebrated my physical being through which I experience this world: my body and my life. It was with a dinner, my partner and family close by and with a slice of key lime pie (rather than cake this year) and that was exactly the way I wanted it.

I would be remiss … if I didn’t say thanks … mom and dad, for without your love for one another my life would not have been possible.  Although you’ve been gone now for many years … I cherish your love yet to this day and I thank you for me.

-Now let life begin … hey I feel like I’m 43 and that is just great!
